What is your singing dream? Does it make you happy and energized?
I started dreaming about singing in front of an enthusiastic audience when I was about 5 years old. What I remember most is that my audience was having such a great time! Everyone smiling and clapping along – totally immersed in the music.
That is exactly the scene I see today when I look out at an audience. It’s a total ecstasy!
How about your singing dreams? What has happened to them? Have you done all you can to make your vision come alive? Have you gone only a little way toward your dreams and then given up? Maybe you allowed your dreams to go stagnant – be put “on hold”?
I hate being put “on hold” when I call my bank or Apple support. I’m sure you know the feeling. It’s such a waste of time and then I get annoyed and that’s a waste of energy. And if I get too annoyed and hang up, then I have to begin the process all over again and waste even more time and energy.
Can you relate this cycle of frustration to your singing journey?
Unfortunately, I hear such stories all the time. In fact, a couple weeks ago a woman signed up for my online training, the Sing Like You Speak® Academy. I chat with new members to ensure that they get what they need from the Academy.
This new member told me that she had been getting my emails for about 10 years. 10 years until she finally decided to become a member and learn how to sing – really sing. She’s a keyboard player in a band and for 10 years she put her dream of singing with the band “on hold”.
Then she got to the point where the band was going to take her a microphone away. So, she joined the Sing Like You Speak® Academy and is already singing better. Now she’s questioning why she didn’t do it sooner! (She still has her mic!)
I wonder what putting that dream “on hold” does to our well-being – physically and psychologically. Those dreams come from something within us that knows we have the potential to make that dream come alive. That place within us has wisdom beyond what the conscious mind is capable of.
A dream like yours and mine also produces tremendous energy. A life-force energy that simply has to express itself – in a way that is either healthy or unhealthy. Unhealthy to suppress the dream. Healthy to follow the dream, develop it and make it come alive.
Is it time for you to get “off hold” and get on with becoming the best singer you can be?
If so, I created the perfect path to fulfill your singing dreams. It’s completely online, available 24/7 with a WIFI connection and amazingly effective. It also happens to be the best singer training available.
